Drugstore Haul! ♥

First things first, I have to tell you WHY there is a haul...
I have reached my first 2 week weight loss goal! Yaaaaaay (well...it was only 3 pounds, but hey...I'm on the path to success sista). And because I have reached my goal, I get to reward myself! Multiple times!

I know I said I was only supposed to get one thing but they were all on sale and I can't control my urges so I got a bunch of stuff to celebrate.

SO HERE'S WHAT I GOT

I decided I was in need of a new cleanser. Not because I plan to stop using mine, but because I need an easier, more moisturizing one for the morning. One to just wake me up and tighten up my pores. So after some deliberating, I chose the Burt's Bees Deep Cleansing Face Wash with Soap Bark and Chamomile. I chose this one because it has deep cleansing properties, but also has soothing and non-irritating/drying ingredients like chamomile.
I got the Yes To Tomatoes Daily Pore Scrub because I had heard good things about the daily cleanser and I wanted one that I could use every other day or so as a scrub for my face, but also one that was good for blemishes and acne as well because my skin breaks out fairly easily.

I got the Desert Essence Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15 for Dry, Sensitive Skin because I am in dire need of a morning moisturizer with SPF. I was using oils for a bit but they just take to long to soak in, and then I was using the Body Shop Vitamin E Day Cream SPF 15, but I really don't like the idea of chemical sunscreens on my face (even though they are in most of my makeups..which is a bummer). But this stuff is zinc oxide only and doesn't leave a whitecas...plus it's actually moisturizing!
Next I got an Aveeno Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 30, in medium. This one is from the Positively Radiant line and it rocks. It's moisturizing and has a bit of lumiousity but is not the least bit oily or greasy. I don't even need setting powder with it!
I have heard lots of reviews about the Garnier BB Cream, some people hate it, some people love it. I have tried the normal BB cream, and I've noticed it's a bit prone to sliding around...so I found this one (which is meant for combo-oily skin) which is supposesdly a matte finish. I'm super interested to see how it works! I got it in light-medium.
I then got the Garnier Tinted Eye Roller in light because you can never have enough concealer (/my maybelline concealers are running out and I wanted to try something else). I am pleasantly surprised with this stuff. Colour is great, and there is no creasing! Very pleased.

I went on a bit of a Burts Bee's kick, because I wanted easy to use lip balms with some colour in them for days when I am running about and I don't feel like wearing lipstick (I am actually a low maintenance person, I swear!)

First things I got were some Lip Shimmers. They are super light and have a shimmery, hint of colour when on your lips. I got them in the colours Peony which is like a rusty rose; Champagne, which is pretty much transulencent but maybe has a hint of pearlescent pink; and Caramel, which is a bronzey nude. They smell like mint and do actually deposit some colour.
Then I picked up a lipgloss. I have no idea what colour this is because it's not on the tube but it is a light shimmery pink, and it smells like bubblegum! I really like these lipglosses and will DEFINITELY be picking up more.
Next, I got the actual tinted lipbalms in the colours Tiger Lily, which is a bronzy pink; Honeysuckle which is a light nudey-caramel colour; and Hibiscus which is a rosy pink. They are definitely more lipbalms then they are lip colours, but they do give a hint of colour and definitely moisturize your lips.
Last, but not least, I purchased some good ol' Burt's lipbalms. I have the Honey one which is great for dry lips; medicated with eucalyptus oil which is great for those days when your lips are wind-chapped or sunburnt; and replenishing with pomegranite oil, which is my favourite to use at night because it really gets into my lips and replenishes the moisture in them. Plus, they all smell amazing.

And what's a haul without some bronzers. I ended up getting two. I have been loving Physicians Formula products lately so I decided to pick up some bronzers that caught my eye. The first one is the Talc-Free Airbrushing Bronzer. I have the powder for this line and I absolutely adore it, so I decided to get the bronzer. I swatched it quickly, but from what I can tell it is medium-tone with a tiny bit of luminosity to it, no sparkles or shine though.
The other bronzer I got was a Multi-Colour Bronzer in Medium-Dark. This is amazing. It is matte and when the colours mix together you get such a nice, natural looking colour. I also love the fact that it is super buildable, so you can go from a little sun kissed to totally bronze.

So, that's my haul for today! I will probably be doing reviews on some of the items that I end up truly loving (or hating), so keep an eye out for that!

xoxo
