Hello my lovelies! My name is Emma (aka Em) and I'm so glad you have stumbled upon my blog. I'm sure by now you've figured out that I'm a fan of beauty (inside and out) but I guess I should tell you a little bit more about me, the face behind the font.
Oh, god where to begin. I guess we can begin with the old A/S/L treatment. I am a 20 year old girl/woman (I'm not a girl...not yet a woman...all I need is time...a moment that is mine...If you know what that's from I'm cyber kissing you) from Ontario, Canada. Yes, I am a Canadian girl. We do exist. (Though, I don't like hockey or snow or maple syrup, so really, what kind of Canadian am I?)
I decided to start a blog because I was jittery and don't like school and I felt like I have a lot to say about a lot of things...isn't that how we all start out? I wanted to create a place where people can come read what I write and smile along with me, or cry, or get mad, or get drunk off cheap champagne.
I have loved to write since a little girl. I used to write short stories, usually about unicorns and far away places, but now I have settled for a blog about beauty. (One day I will finish a unicorn book and give you all a free copy. You know you want it!)
Other than writing and beauty, I also enjoy fitness and health and I am always looking for something fun to do that will also sculpt me Megan Fox's body. I am a lover of pilates (specifically Pop Pilates), yoga, circuit training with weights and Karena and Katrina. I...hate...cardio. It is my nemisis. I am currently attempting to find a deep (VERY DEEP) hidden love for it...thus far, failing. But I'm sure its there somewhere (at the abyss of my soul). I like to cook, though I'm pretty average at it, and I have an addiction to pickles, chocolate covered granola bars, SmartFood popcorn and snow peas.
One very important aspect to my entire character is my friends. My friends are my family. And I have the best in the world. Sometimes I honestly think that I have a collection of the most fabulous people ever in my life. And then I remember that I do.
My friends are people I hold VERY DEAR to my heart and I could never function without them. They make my sometimes chaotic world slow down and spin at a normal pace. They are there for me NO MATTER WHAT. Whether I need to cry until I hiccup, or bitch about bitches, or have a laughing fit, or do something weird and stupid that we will regret, or watch movies and eat junk food, or go to a bar and dance the night away; they are there. 100%. Never half-assed.

I call them my sisters (and brothers) because that's what they are to me. I don't half-ass a friendship ever. And I've ended plenty of them because that's what I felt I was doing. The friends I have now or the forever type, and they have been there right from the get-go. I've also acquired some new ones along the way to. My roommates have quickly wiggled there way into my heart and they are more than welcome to be there. We all work so well together, you would never have been able to tell that not too long ago we were all strangers. Yea, friendship is one of those things I could go on and on and on about because I love my friends so much, but I think you guys get the picture. Friendship = Life.
Another very important person in my life worth mentioning would by my Babs. My lovebug. My pookie-pants. The ol' boyfriend, Willy (some dutch guy I met at summer school in the ripe years of Grade 9...). He and I have been together for 4 years (and counting) and despite a few speed bumps, it's been smooth cruisin'. He lets me do me and sometimes me can get a little confusing. He is funny and sarcastic and stubborn, and treats me like gold. I really can't complain, he's pretty fantabulous. And the more I'm with him the happier I am. (Also, he's number one cuddler. Seriously, number one).
OKAY, last thing about me. But this is easily the MOST important. And that would be this beautiful, stunning, angelic, loving, adorable face:
This is Rozee. She is my 8 year old paint mare. I have had her since she was 2 years old and I broke and trained her from scratch. She is THE WORLD to me. Literally. She is my heart and soul. She is the peanut to my butter. The beat to my heart. The orange to my juice. She is everything. EVERYTHING. I get a little choked up even talking about her. Anyways, what can I tell you about her? (hahaha, jk, I could write a book). Rozee is the most intelligent horse I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She basically trained herself. She gets very frusterated when I'm asking her to do something hard/new because she KNOWS what she is supposed to be doing but sometimes her body just isn't strong enough. So she throws a fit.
She's hilarious, and has a very large fanbase, and not to mention she is BEAUTIFUL. I could not be prouder to be her Mama.

Rozee is the one and only creature who can truly calm me down and make me smell the rozes (pun intended). She knows when I just need her to behave and she does..on the flip side, she also knows when she can toss me a few bucks (usually in the Spring time..but we've all been there). She snuggles like a lap dog and every single day of my life she brings me joy, and happiness, and laughter. She has been the most valuable teacher in my entire life. She has taught me patience, love, dedication and perserverance. She has taught me to not be so serious all the time and enjoy all the little things that other people might not notice. She is my world. On that note, I think I've pretty much covered who I am and what is important to me (even though now I am thinking of even more things to write..but I'll cut it off here for you guys). Feel free to ask my questions or give me feedback on any of my posts/videos.
Love and appreciate every single one of you!! xoxox
